The course was so convinient for me as I am pretty busy teaching and studying. I liked the flow of lessons, the platform itself, and the feedbacks were great. I suggest this to anybody who wants to teach English because having the knowledge of language and being able to teach that are not the same. I acquired a lot and it somehow changed my concept of teaching and learning a language. Have fun teaching!

I’m really happy with my choice to study with TEFLPros. I am a big review reader/writer so I did a lot of research before choosing a course. The thing I liked about this one from the beginning was how the reviews and feedback seemed very real. I don’t get the impression that TEFLPros has a huge marketing arm so things were much more direct and transparent, for example, they didn’t answer my questions with an automatic email, it was a real person. I appreciate that.

On the course, I feel like they do a great job of providing practical training. I am new to this and it’s important to me to feel like I am prepared for my job and they definitely helped with this. I liked the practical component of writing lesson plans, 7 to be exact. In order to pass the course, I had to write 7 of my own lesson plans. The course does an excellent job of guiding you through this and giving you real human feedback.

Great course, highly recommend.

It was a true pleasure to do the TEFLPros course. How they have it set up is wonderful, as both a comfortable interface (audio / video content alongside a written version – having both made it that much easier to concentrate and absorb the information even when I was tired), and as a way for virtual students to feel that the contact with the teachers is less virtual and more real. It is like having a running podcast (with dynamic, personable voices) while you learn the material. Both teachers have their own personalities, which complement each other well.. And the classroom observation opportunities were also appreciated. It is clear that they invested a lot of effort and care in putting this course together.

A couple other positives:

1. The pedagogical structure is intelligently done and effective. This stands out in comparison with other online courses. Material isn’t just put down in a PDF that you could read in a book, but is given as interactively as possible. First you do a quick exercise to get you thinking independently about the topic. The section is then ended with a portfolio assignment (that they personally grade and comment at the end!) and a re-cap quiz, both of which contribute to the learning experience.

2. Even the grammar revew, ostensibly one of the shorter components and a practical guide for further research, stands out as a coherent and intelligent summary that is presented with the intellectually honest caveats (there are tons of exceptions!) to make it worthwhile and interesting. Afterward, I looked over my Collins English Verbs book and and made some (pencil) corrections. 😉

I can’t yet speak of how this all help my cv, since I just finished the course, but I have begun additional online courses (coronatime fun!), and I have to say that I am missing Whitney and Jos! The TEFLPros experience can make other online courses look static and dated… They certainly require more coffee to get through. Keep up the good work TEFLPros!

(About my Job Assistance rating: I am located in a country in Europe where I will most likely be on my own no matter which TEFL course I would have done, and haven’t yet started. So I can’t speak to that yet in any event, and in my own case is likely irrelevant. They do have a FB group and live discussion groups that grads can join, so it is clear that there is a real effort to make a virtual network.)

This was a great experience overall. My school actually paid for the course for me, but I was pleasantly surprised how good the course was. I had a lot of skepticism about an online course (and I still think most of the ones out there are junk) but TEFLPros has definitely taken a much more professional different path. I learned a lot about planning lessons and how I can use similar strategies for whatever I’m teaching. Really happy with these guys and this course.

Great course! Affordable, clear explanation, relevant resources. TEFLPros was exactly what I was looking for in a course. It’s modern and streamlined and it all made sense. I plan to move abroad to teach, but for now I am volunteering at a community center and teaching online. I feel really prepared for my work at the moment but the course teaches me how to adapt basic teaching skills across all age groups, cultures, materials etc. If you take this course, you’ll feel prepared and supported.

I was really happy with the TEFLPros course. The content was impressive and it was all organized well. This is a course for people who actually want to be prepared to teach. The content is presented very clearly and if you don’t understand something, you can contact them directly and get a super quick response. I couldn’t find a specific plan (totally my own fault) and I emailed them and Abby got back to me within 20 minutes. The support was awesome. They helped me a lot in getting my resume up to speed and helped me find lots of great jobs. I’m really glad I chose TEFLPros.

This was an all around great course. No complaints! I feel so prepared to teach after doing the TEFLPros course. I plan to volunteer locally before I go abroad and I am using the lesson plans from the course to help guide me. I got to watch lots of video of real teachers teaching and I can adapt their lesson plans to my classes (18 of them). I also learned how to write my own plans and follow them. Another thing I really liked was that I could do it from my phone and ipad. That was super convenient. Pros: Quality, flexibility, support, communication. Cons: really nothing I can think of! Thanks for a great experience!

TEFLPros was great! I am really happy that I trusted my gut and chose to go with this course. They were helpful and supportive throughout and I feel that I really learned a lot by the end. I tried a $20 Groupon thing in the past and it was such a waste of my time. The TEFLPros course just absolutely blows the cheap junk out of the water. They have videos and activities and reflections and at the end you get feedback on all of your work so it doesn’t just go into a black hole. Thanks TEFLPros for putting something of QUALITY out there!

TEFLPros is the best TEFL course out there! There are so many options to choose from, but in the end, this was hands down the best TEFL course. They are so supportive and helpful from start to finish. The quality is really good for an online course too, worth the price. I’m really happy with my choice and I’m living the dream in Thailand. TEFLPros was everything I was looking for in a course and more! I chose them because they are so REAL. No sales gimmicks or “but wait there’s more…” or 90% discounts. It’s straight to the point. The course was super engaging and had a ton of video. I had a lot of questions and they supported me all along the way from the beginning of the course to finding a job so thanks to the TEFLPros team for making an online course that is ACTUALLY good quality. I’d give an 11/10 if I could!
