Description

TEFL Trainer is a TEFL Certification provider with a network of schools in Spain.

TEFL Trainer has worked with over 50 UK and French universities organising teaching internships in English, Spanish, and French through a network of language schools in Spain.

Our online course is very comprehensive with over 100 video tutorials, interactive quizzes and its 6 final exams, to be supplemented by 6 reflective diaries and 6 lesson plans. A Student Handbook is also provided after the interview.

If you choose an internship or volunteering you will be provided with all the lesson plans as well as on-site support and further training.

The course content was really useful and interesting. It allowed me to explore a variety of topics that were unfamiliar to me. There was a variety of material (videos – photos..etc) that were extremely helpful.

It was a great opportunity to actually use what I have learned throughout my internship, it helped a lot.

Overall, it was one of the best experiences I have had!

The online course is well organised and the content well explained by Julia. However, regarding the live webinars, I would have liked to receive more information about them, since they were not available at the time I was doing the theory of the course, and I could not access them to discuss doubts with Julia and the rest of the interns face to face. For the rest, Julia has been a great tutor, very attentive in answering my emails solving my doubts and also in a very fast way.

Overall, I had a fantastic time! I recommend this course and the experience doubtlessly to anyone interested in becoming an EFL teacher.

I completed this course during the COVID-19 pandemic, and applied during the first wave. Being a student and feeling the pressure of finding work experience during my summer, I am very grateful for TEFL Trainer and their efforts to provide people like me with work experience and a certificate during this difficult time. Julia made tremendous efforts to adapt to the virtual environment. She was also very flexible and understanding of the different issues we had with regards to the pandemic, and provided support when needed.

I took part in the TEFL trainer programme throughout the summer of 2021, teaching English online to Spanish students. My experience both with the teaching practice and the course itself were great. Julia, who helped with anything course-related, was always quick to reply to any queries and remained super helpful and friendly throughout. I would definitely recommend this programme, especially seeing as it incorporates teaching practise into the theoretical framework of learning how to become an English teacher.

My experience with this TEFL course was absolutely amazing. Any questions I had would be answered very quick if not immediately! The content and layout of this course was easy to use and easy to learn from and the set up was very convenient. I am very grateful for the support received from the tutors, I was given advice with any concern I had. Though I have been an English Teacher here in Spain for 20+ years I have never done any teaching qualification. At TEFL Trainer, Julia and her team gave me the opportunity to do the TEFL course on line in my own time. I have learnt a lot of useful information which I am now using in my classes. Julia was always quick to respond to my questions and gave me the support necessary. I recommend this course wholeheartedly.

I highly recommend taking the TEFL course certificate. Even though I have already some experience in English Teaching and I have the necessary qualification to officially work as English Teacher, I do not want to stop learning. TEFL course has brought me the opportunity to work with native people as well as learning some brand new aspects of teaching English as a Foreign Languages. The resources and materials they provide are well-explained, organized, and easy to understand. I am forever grateful for all the support and guidance provided by my instructor, Julia, who is a wonderful and caring person.

I had a very wholesome experience with TEFL Trainer. Combining the online course with a 9-month long internship in Barcelona, as well as attending group workshops and getting opportunities to observe classes of various levels in Barcelona and Valencia provided me with more insight and confidence in English teaching.

The school I was sent to for my internship had a very friendly atmosphere, and due to it being a small academy that offered classes not only in English but also in other areas, I quickly integrated the administrative team and got to see how a school works on a bigger scale.

Julia was an amazing tutor: very supportive, regularly calling or emailing to make sure everything was going well, and always ready to switch to a topic that I or people in my workshop thought needed to be worked on. She organised regular sessions, even online when that was the only option, in which we focused on both linguistic and pedagogy aspects for different levels/ages/aims. Overall, the TEFL trainer course covered multiple layers of English teaching, which gave me more confidence and tools for teaching; if for some levels I need assistance, the resources that Julia provided us with are of great help.

The course was extremely useful to my personal teaching career. the 140 hours of online course provide you with all the necessary grammar points you need to know, and also provide you with many teaching strategies. The webinars are an excellent way ok knowing other teachers and exchanging opinions and tips. Julia was an excellent tutor: calling me frequently, yto help me with any doubts or questions I could have had. She was caring and always supportive. Definitely suggest to undertake this course to everyone!
