I had a fantastic weekend and a brilliant experience.

The course was full of brilliant materials, interesting stories & examples, challenge & skills learning, but most of all fun!

I feel that all students were engaged and excited throughout the two days.

Thomas is one of my best teachers I’ve ever had (and believe me I’ve had many). He is not only a brilliant teacher, who is enthusiastic and great in delivering his lessons but also has an amazing and fun personality. He was encouraging and helpful in all aspects of the course. Thank you Thomas!!

Great course, knowledgeable trainer, lots of real life examples and advice. The only criticism I have is that the demonstration video (‘Carol’s lesson’) was of very poor quality and I could barely hear what was being said (it also hurt my eyes!).

Great weekend, lots of fun and learnt a large amount from the interactive activities. Steve was a fantastic instructor.

Steve is an excellent teacher. He is warm, caring, enthusiastic and very professional. He is non-judgemental, patient and delivers the sessions in an entertaining manner which assists with the learning.

The weekend course was really good and has inspired me. Steve is an asset to the organisation

The weekend workshop was great it put the course online to life. My tutor Steve was great he made the workshop entertaining yet conveyed a lot of important information and guidance needed for a tefl teacher. However , with that being said I enjoyed my weekend tefl course Steve once again is a brilliant tutor and solved any queries or misunderstandings of the online course. I met a lovely group that weekend and would love to keep in touch with them.

I enjoyed the 3 day classroom course with Asif and 11 classmates. The course encouraged participation by all, gave positive and constructive feedback and reinforced the rationale behind the advice or guidance on how to handle common classroom situations. We had daily opportunity to work with different classmates and to discuss and present on different teaching situations. I can recommend this course.

Steve was a great tutor throughout the whole process. He shared meaningful insight into teaching abroad aswell as a great knowledge of languages and expression.

The team were very motivated which helped blur out the initial nerves and the 20 hours went by really quickly!

I knew this was going to be an intensive weekend and was a bit apprehensive about that. Halfway through the morning of the first day I wondered how I was going to keep going. However, it is a credit to the skills of the trainer that the time did pass really quickly in the end and I remained interested and focused!

I also thought it was really helpful to do a mock language lesson when we were all very tired after a long day. This was a unique opportunity to put ourselves in the place of the people we might be teaching. I found it a thought-provoking and helpful exercise.

The teacher was great, obviously extremely knowledgeable and experienced. And good at challenging and motivating us, and at giving constructive feedback in a productive way.

The only thing I would have liked was more chance to practice teaching and more tips on classroom management.

A 20-hour weekend course is a daunting prospect, but so glad I did it! The whole group was really friendly and our tutor Rachael did an amazing job of making the long days fun and engaging. Being able to practice delivering lessons to the group was invaluable and the feedback was very constructive.

Would definitely recommend!

Iona, was just awesome. Tefl from the very start to the very end.

A great course and its as fun as you want to make it.

Room was just too hot all weekend despite the portable air con unit which just made it hot and noisy too.

I would recommend this course to any potential EFL teacher (so long as Iona is teaching, although I dont know how great the rest of the tutors are!).
