I was very impressed by how the tutor kept the interest of our group going the entire weekend. The course was very intensive but also enjoyable. This was in part down to Simon, our tutor who balanced the theory with different activities and fun anecdotes from his experiences. Simon clearly knew his stuff and that was evident and came across throughout the weekend and was quite inspirational at times as well as comical.

I don’t know if it was pure chance but I would also say that there seemed to be a complimentary blend of characters, personalities, ages and experience in our group which also contributed to what I believe was a successful and memorable weekend which I won’t forget. I hope the others on the course echo my thoughts.

Finally I’ll end by repeating that Simon really did do a great job and is a credit to the teaching profession.

Elizabeth is an excellent teacher.

She made a very long weekend fly by with lots of great activities. I learnt a lot.

Only thing for improvement, need biscuits please!

The course was made exceptional by Steve. He’s a really passionate teacher and able to bring a lot of humour and great understanding for students.

The only downside I have to offer is that I feel that there could be more aid through the whole TEFL course on actually getting a job. Certainly for those trying to teach online

The classroom session led by Steve was brilliant, he was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and led by example in demonstrating the teaching material. He is a brilliant asset to the organisation and I’m sure he has single handedly helped raise the standards of tefl teaching across the world.

Very good instructions but a lot to cover over 2 days. Some content was overwhelming.

Just finished the 3 day classroom course. Excellent course, would recmmend to anyone interested in teaching English to foreign learners. Lots of information and practice packed into the 3 days. Definitely worth it.

I took a 140-hour course with Tefl.org. 20 hours of this was a classroom setting and the rest on-line. The class was excellent; a knowledgeable tutor and very informative. Information about lesson planning, and good feedback on how to make classes better. They were long days, but couldn’t really be helped considering it was a weekend course. The on-line part is good as well, with a personal tutor assigned to you to help you out and an on-line forum to chat with other students. I haven’t tried to find work yet, so couldn’t say anything about that, but they do have vacancies on their website where you just email CVs to employers. Definitely recommendable!

I have just come back from a 3 day weekday course in Brighton. My Teacher was very good and was able to answer all of my questions about relating TEFL to my job role. I would recommend this course if you would like to start a teaching career as you can appreciate what it is like to be a kid again!
