I have just completed the UNI-Prep TESOL course. I found that it was much easier to complete than I was expecting! It was very convenient as the site is up 24 hours and you can go at your own pace.
It is definitely a good course for individuals who are self motivated. Once you sign up for the course, you have three months to complete it, but this is very generous for the amount of work that is required.
I enjoyed both the video content and readings. I felt that it was a broad yet comprehensive course on the basics of teaching students!
I haven’t applied for jobs yet, but I am sure that from the other reviews online, that it won’t be too long before I am teaching English abroad!
I just completed my online course for the TESOL diploma. I have enjoyed and benefited from the courses which have sharpened my teaching skills. I feel more adequately prepared to teach and plan lessons and activities for my career. I really appreciated the quick responses to my questions in emails I sent. I think this is the best course to study for the TESOL diploma. This is a wonderful course to study, if you wish to study online.
The course is very good for an online course. I found the instruction extremely good, and the methods of explaining errors good as well. The lack of a person to talk with is standard for online courses, and this was expected. The course is a good way to learn much more about teaching English, and I wish I had taken it earlier!

I honestly wish that I would have taken this course before teaching overseas for 4 years. I think with what I’ve learned, I would have been a much better teacher of English learners. The videos were decent, a bit boring for me. I am a visual learner but the videos just have a audio and text. I would suggest having real instructors present and share the information and examples. Other than that, it was av positive and rewarding course: something like attending a professional development workshop.
I completed the TESOL Certificate from UNI-Prep. It was a good experience. The content was well organized but the structure of the quizzes need improvement. e.g. I would have loved clarity/ feedback on answers that I got wrong that I think were right. The videos could also be more natural sounding and interactive e.g. It would be great to have an interface with the instructor.
The course was easy to follow, clear and concise. I suggest this Uni-Prep for anyone who is interested in taking the TESOL course for a quick and easy certificate/diploma. I am a visual learner, so the PDFs made it easy for me to retain information, especially since I am a fast reader. There are online videos, which if you are an auditory learner, it is helpful.
This course is a real fast track to your goal if you intend to teach English abroad and want to get your certificate as fast as possible – the program is very comprehensive and fun so, that you can go through it all in a very short period of time. I recommend it to all TESOL candidates.
Just took the TESOL course. It was much less content than i expected but it covered most bases. The material was succinct yet comprehensive. Definitely not a breeze but not too hard to go through either.
Great to do on your own time. Pace entirely controlled by student.
Just done with my course (Online)wıth UNI-Prep Institute and I would say that it wasn’t a difficult journey at all. I did my course at the comfort of my home and in my own pace. The videos and reading materials enhances my knowledge about teaching. Hats off to your very innovative teaching techniques. Thanks and keep it up!
The course material was clear, concise and very interesting. It provided the exact information I needed to achieve my goals. The website was clearly laid out and easy to use, and I enjoyed being able to work at my own pace.
