My overall experience from completing the 120 hour TEFL course has been Great! The course provided me with enough time to complete and was very clear and concise with its instructions. I would recommend The TEFL Institute to everyone!

The course was very interesting, offering a good range of interactive sections and clear information which was easy to digest. The site itself is a little difficult to navigate. I found myself repeating several sections due to the fact it doesn’t save any progress made in a given session.

After looking into TEFL courses online, I got a call from John Curry, their course enrolment advisor, and honestly he couldn’t have been more helpful. He broke everything down in a simple way, walked me through the different options, and helped me pick the right course based on my background, whether I wanted to teach online or abroad, and what I could realistically commit to time‑wise. He also gave solid advice about my own experience, moving overseas, and what to actually expect on the ground, which left me feeling way more confident about the next steps.

What really stood out though was how smooth and user‑friendly The TEFL Institute’s platform and jobs service are. The online learning environment is clean, easy to navigate, and easy to study from anywhere, which is perfect if you’re juggling a job or travel plans. Once you finish, you get access to their TEFL Jobs Board and TEFL Explorer platform, which brings together hundreds of verified teaching roles worldwide and uses AI to match you with positions that actually fit your skills, visa status, and preferred countries. The IELTS course was excellent. It was easy to understand, and there were quizzes after each section to prepare one for the final quiz in each section. I have learned a great deal to assist my students to do well in the IELTS exam.

A very rewarding 30-hour course. It provided the deep dive into teaching techniques I was looking for, especially regarding the speaking component. The course is very helpful for me in solidifying my knowledge in teaching English. I have experience in teaching English for Young Learners as well as adults but I knew I needed additional knowledge to be able to teach them better. And this is what this course did for me. The only con I can think about is that, this course is self-paced so it is really about to you when you are going to finish it. But it is very comprehensive plus there lots of resources included with the course as well.
