I studied the level 5 TEFL course (168 hours) and really benefited from it. I thought the units were laid out in a clear and comprehensive manner, the instructors gave excellent feedback and the resources provided were extensive. I did feel that the instructions for lesson plans and assignments were a little confusing- however the best thing about this course is the speedy assistance you receive if you have a question. Instructors really went above and beyond with feedback and instructions. Thanks to the course I have now received my first teaching job, teaching exchange students in my home town.

A friend who is a Teacher recommended The TEFL Academy to me.

My background is not teaching. For the last 25 years I have been in Taxation and Accounting. I must confess, I’d never heard of the courses, so obviously researched the various choices available.

However, I’m delighted she suggested The TEFL Academy as it proved to be outstanding and deserving of the high recommendations.

I elected to undertake the combination course of online and 20 hr classroom activities. I would highly recommend this combination as the classroom participation is an invaluable supplementary learning tool to the online modules. I was most impressed by the lecturer, which again enhanced the positive experience I had received from the Support Staff, who were (without exception) extremely helpful and courteous.

It’s also worthy of note about the feedback from the Assessor regarding the penultimate and final Assignments. The feedback was extremely helpful and supportive. I personally found the comments and the encouragement most inspiring and motivating.

In conclusion I highly recommend The TEFL Academy.

The material and support provided has enabled me to learn and understand a completely new work area / Career.

I would like to recommend the TEFL Academy where I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course 168 hours. It is a really amazing course and gives you an opportunity to achieve thorough qualifications recognized all over the world. I would say it is a real world of opportunities. As far as the organization of the course is concerned it is worth noting that you have 6 months (or even more if you request it) to complete the course. The material of particular units is well organised, detailed enough and well selected. The theory which puts emphasis on all aspects of English teaching is accompanied by multiple of different exercises. You have to also submit three assignments which are later marked and discussed by great tutors. After completion of every course unit you have to complete end of the unit test which is automatically graded. The Academy will assist you in finding the job, providing hints on preparation the documents required in the recruitment process in all language schools. In my opinion you will not find a better place where you can study in order to achieve TEFL certificate, so do not hesitate to choose the TEFL Academy.

I have completed a number of online short courses and expected this to be very simple like the rest of them.

To my surprise and delight, this was a very different experience. The materials were extremely comprehensive and the content challenging. I feel that the programme through the TEFL Academy has more than adequately equipped me to make the career change I so desire.

The support received from the TEFL Academy team was superb and assisted greatly in achieving this qualification. The response to any queries was quick and detailed.

I can highly recommend the TEFL Academy as a sound choice when considering embarking on a TEFL programme.

As I work part time I was interested in finding another career which I could fit in with my work. The Tefl level 5 (168 hours) course fitted in well with my part time work. Studying from home whenever I had free time meant that I was able to go at my own pace and fit the course into 5 months.

The 20 hours of group study with a tutor gave opportunity to ask questions and iron out difficulties. The tutor was exceptionally helpful and gave plenty of links to resources.

The online material was easy to follow and covered everything I needed.

However, as I made notes throughout the course and re read pages for assignments, I would have found it easier if the online pages could be numbered. This would have made it much quicker to find relevant information within the units while studying for the three assignments.

My experience with The Tefl Academy was excellent!The content work is very detailed and they make it easy to grasp concepts and they give great feedback in a way you can correct your errors with understanding of what is required.The Tefl Academy is dedicated to its students and the tutors are very competent. I have to applaud their admin aswell…very quick to help!I would definitely recommend The Tefl Academy wanting A tefl qualification!

I have just completed and passed with distinction the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs).

The course content was excellent. Everything was explained very clearly and concisely. I particularly enjoyed the end of unit tests which were a great way of testing that I’d understood all the concepts in the unit before being able to move onto the next unit.

The very comprehensive guidelines for each assignment submission made creating each assignment much easier because I knew exactly what was expected.

The quality of feedback was excellent as was all communication with the TEFL Academy support staff.

I would recommend this Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs).

firstly I was quite scared of attending my 20 hour face to face class but was put to ease by the most wonderful teacher.

I was pleased to know that I could complete the course in my own time. I also enjoyed the course content as this is so much inspiring and usefull for the end of unit tests.

I do wish that I could’ve gotten my assignment marks back in less time. What I do appreciate is that the information given by the marker of the assignment, when I did not pass, was usefull and helpful.

I loved the Level 5 168 combined TEFL course and would recommend it to anyone.

Firstly I started studying the 120hour TEFL course, and after my 20 hour teaching practical decided to move into the 168 hour course.

The team at tefl made the switch over so effortless and for just a small fee extra my course was upgraded. I was a little overwhelmed by just how much the content had changed, but was thoroughly impressed as to just how much extra I had been given content wise.

I thoroughly enjoyed the course and found response from the online team has been FANTASTIC! I have learned so much and because of it, it has pushed me to go on to study my degree in teaching.

So, a HUGE thank you to the TEFL team for an amazingly informative and interesting experience! I’ve loved it so much that its pushed me to study further and I look forward to being placed abroad someday!
