So i have wanted to do my TEFL since I left High-School and after much research I chose The TEFL Academy. They have awesome teachers and they are just an email away. They always provided me with all the information i needed with links to practice activities and explanations.

I took the 20 hour in class room package as I have no prior teaching experience and that helped me a lot. They covered everything in such detail that after the in-class course I really had no questions to ask when the question session came up. The online portion of the course is easy accessible and the interface is extremely welcoming. The website is well designed and I had no trouble logging in from my various connections.

The course is great. The end really gets you. The staff for the online class could be better. Student services made it a hassle to get me an extension. They didn’t make it personal enough. What a headache. Make it easy for us students. I might be teaching someone you know one day.

Oh, and they don’t give you a heads up, but they shut down your account on the last weekday before your course end date. Which sucks. Get it together student services.

I found the course very complete and interesting.

I have worked with young children so far, so the parts about lesson planning were definitely very useful to make my class more interactive and interesting for older students as well.

The feedback that I received on my assignments was very quick and very helpful.

I plan to teach abroad within the next year, probably in Asia.

I was excited to have the opportunity to complete a TEFL course alongside my current full time work. The flexible nature of this course was ideal. I also appreciated the fact that you had to complete one module at a time. This meant I invested in each module properly, as opposed to skipping forward. This was key to then be able to complete the end of module exam and assignments comprehensively. Overall, the course content was easy to follow and all the necessary information was provided in order to complete the tests, exam and assignments. I would advise people to create a timeline for the completion of modules/exams/assignments to ensure they have sufficient to complete all comprehensively in the 6 months. When taking full notes this can take longer than initially expected.Thank you for this opportunity, I am now excited to put the learning into practice.

I highly recommend The TEFL Academy and have already informed my friends of the great opportunities they will have if they sign up to this course. At first I wasn’t sure if I was capable of completing a 120 hour, as I was never the best at English in school. However, I’m glad I did. The course expanded my knowledge of the English language and provided me with confidence. The online layout is great because it’s easy to navigate. The material provided was very helpful and the course itself was enjoyable.

I thoroughly enjoyed the two class lessons. Jen was extremely helpful and very friendly. I was nervous at first, as I didn’t know what to expect. But I settled in straight away and felt as though I had been in the class for weeks instead of hours. I’ve kept in contact with the people I met on the course, so thank you very much The TEFL Academy for providing me with the opportunity to meet new people.

I can’t wait to look at all the job opportunities I now have thanks to completing the TEFL course.

I have been a teacher of music and English in Denmark for nearly 3 decades. I expect to retire to China in a few years, and hope to be able to teach a little when living there. I therefore decided that a TEFL certificate would be beneficial.

I must confess to being somewhat sceptical about how much a 120 hour course could teach me. I was positively surprised and can thoroughly recommend this course to those who like me have jobs to go to. The course is well presented, logically constructed and covers a wide spectrum of that you will require to teach successfully.

I hope to be involved in teaching for many years to come, and looking forward to searching the TEFL jobs sections.

I would add however, that you will not pass if you do not meet the basic requirements. Well done TEFL academy, great course, I should have done this 20 years ago.

I have completed the course and am still waiting for the certificate to be sent. I really did find the topics and content of the course very interesting and fun. It was truely simple and easy enough for anybody to understand but not so much so that it is boring. I do think this was money well spent and am excited to see what the future holds.

I completed the 120 hour online course and was very impressed with each aspect of the course. With the course being online I imagined there may be times when it became tedious, but this was not the case. Each module was clearly defined and the target aim was always met. Having the test at the end of each module meant that you were eager to have understood the module in detail. The weekend classroom course hugely exceeded my expectations. The teacher was brilliant and I must say, with 20 hours over two days, the teacher makes all the difference!

TEFL is great, and it was great to meet other people who were doing the same course too.

My advice would be, not to think twice, and sing up for the TEFL course! You must be eager, passionate, and willing to learn. However, I think it is an unwritten rule that anyone who starts the TEFL journey will be that way inclined anyway.

I loved this course. It’s so informative and detailed. I rushed out of my office every day telling anyone I can about what I’ve learnt.

The practical weekend was very good. We had an excellent teacher who handled the differing levels of student very well.

It took me a lot, lot longer than I thought. I would like to see a more detailed timeline for time expected, especially at the end with the assignments. I had not realised that it all had to be returned and marked by the end of six months and so had to pay for an extension.

I can easily recommend this course, especially for those who have never taught before. Great resources, websites etc.

I completed the 120 hour online course and it exceeded my expectations in every way. The programme is very user friendly and I had no problems with it whatsoever.

The course itself is broken up into manageable chapters that are given in a logical order that allows you to slowly ease into the material.

I would recommend this course to anyone considering it. It does exactly what it says in the tin.
