The TEFL Academy provided a very well structured, easy to follow course that helped guide me to understanding how to be a successful English teacher.

The two day classroom training was also very rewarding and helpful as the instructor provided useful and relevant information. It was also an opportunity to meet other people interested in teaching English.

Overall, the course is challenging yet rewarding and I would recommend the TEFL Academy to anyone interested in teaching English in a foreign country.

All my life I’ve wanted to travel abroad and the TEFL Academy offered a way for me to do it and to get paid while living my dream! The course was very well planned and thought out because it went through different teaching scenarios, lesson plans, ways of teaching and anything one might expect to encounter in a classroom. It was well worth the time and effort and it will be very helpful for my future career!

I completed the 120 hour online course and I was very impressed with it. As a writer, I love English, and I had been wanting to teach English to others. Thanks to the TEFL Academy, I now have that opportunity.

The course content is in-depth, and broken into parts which lessens the difficulty of the overall structure. It emphasizes what needs to be thoroughly learned in order to be correctly taught in the future. And gives any beginner a well structured introduction to teaching English.

I am happy to have gone through this process with TEFL Academy. It was a very pleasant experience, as whenever I had a query or issue, I was assisted immediately and queries were resolved.

I enjoyed taking the 120-hour combination course and believe that the content and advice given really helped me in a classroom setting. The lesson-planning guidance that was given was especially useful, and it was nice to have a refresher when undertaking the assignments.

However, I did find the online course to be quite tedious in parts. Much of the phonetic component proved itself to be inapplicable to our class during the practical weekend (we were all Scottish) and I have not been able to use it in a class so far. The weekend component was very enjoyable and valuable, though, and our instructor gave us a lot of helpful advice beyond the realm of just our course components.

I think this is a good base TEFL course and would recommend it to others.

This was an excellent and comprehensive course. The topics to be covered were logically divided up across the modules, each module feeling like its own subtopic. Challenging areas such as English grammar were broken down into manageable steps.

The support team always responded quickly to my queries, and the in-depth feedback on my end-of-course assignments was also very helpful.

Wanting to travel but having never taught before I was apprehensive about future prospects as an ESL teacher.

Having completed the TEFL certificate through the TEFL Academy I now have the confidence I was initially lacking.

The online modules together with the practical weekend provided the perfect balance and is a definite must for anyone who has never taught before.

I found the approach to lesson planning most beneficial as I was required to create a lesson plan for my second interview and had it not been for the course I may well not have been successful.

Furthermore, the practical weekend (and our instructor) rounded off the online portion fantastically and I gathered several insights into how to actually teach a class and the conduct therein.

I highly recommend The TEFL Academy to anyone wanting to teach whilst travelling.

Thank you for the opportunities this course has created and good luck to all future ESL teachers

The TEFL academy offered excellent services both in the intensive course and the online modules. Since beginning to work with EFL students, it has quickly become clear how valuable the course content and practical advise is. I would strongly recommend the course for anyone wishing to pursue this pathway.

I’m already involved in teaching English and wanted the TEFL to advance my career. I found the TEFL Acadamy easy to deal with when enrolling and setting up my course. The course itself is very informative with helpful videos and lots [perhaps a little too much] of text. But the instruction is clear and I made steady progress from start to finish. I would highly recommend the TEFL Acadamy.

I think the course was very comprehensive giving a good framework to start a teaching career from and each module also included very useful further reading materials to further your knowledge and skills. The feedback on the final assignments was very helpful as well, so all in all it was extremely good value and I’m looking forward to getting a teaching job soon.
