One of the best courses ever! I’ve just passed my 120 hours course and I can’t thank the Academy enough for all the information, techniques and tips I’ve learned. Thanks to the interactive activities done throughout the course I am now aware of all the teaching skills a good teacher needs. The final assignments really helped me to put in practice what I’ve been studying in each module. I’m now working for an english private school and online company thanks to the knowledge acquired . I would definitely recommend The TEFL Academy to anyone who wants to teach and get a TEFL certification.

I truly learned a lot from this course. They have it very organized and detailed, so I like that. They usually give you 6 months to finish, and I went beyond that because of personal events happening in my life and they were very gracious at extending it with a minimum fraction of the cost to extend it.

I wanted to do the practice teaching, but most of the schedules near my location happen on Saturday, which I cannot go to because it’s the Sabbath for me. I wish they have different schedules, like during the week, to accommodate other people who might not be available on the weekend.

Other than that, the experience has been great! Great quality, great customer service, great program!

The course was very easy to follow and complete. It was well structured and contained content that I found both interesting, new and challenging at sometimes. I would recommend the course to anyone. My only feedback is with regards to the costs involved after obtaining the certificate. The fast track fee must be displayed up front when booking the course and allowed to be selected as an option

This is my best way to obtain my TEFL qualification. Firstly, its course structure is very well-organized. 2 days classroom in-person training plus 100 hours for online training. This basically blended with theory and practical all together.

I very enjoyed it! I feel happy as I’m now a qualified English teacher with my current completed university degrees. This can enhance my chance to get a dream job overseas.

Also I decided to go for this great course because I want to change my career forever and want to get strong! (Just like Pokemon trainer, Ash Ketchum in Kalos series)

The price is very affordable! A$375 after 50% off discount!

I recommend everyone should do the course if you want to get a TEFL qualification!

The 100 hour online and 20 hour classroom based TEFL course was better than I had expected. I had personally not begun the online aspect of the course before attending the classroom, however this was not problematic and in fact assisted me along the way of the online course. I was able to complete the course in 6 months at a pace that worked around my daily life and busy schedule. The course was interesting, engaging and educational. The two end of course assignments were challenging and I received good, detailed feedback from online tutors. I am now in Brazil, hoping to use my TEFL qualification and I am confident that the CV and cover letter guidance attached will help me to find a job.

I’ve finally completed my TEFL course!

Spent many years thinking about it and trying to figure out if it was worth. The only way to find out was to give it a try.

I am happy to recommend it to anyone who wants to start to teach English as foreigner language.

From grammar and linguistic, lesson planning to more specific psychological and pedagogical topic, the 120 hours course gives you an overview of how to successfully plan a lesson for different levels and ages, things to take in consideration and activities which facilitate learning.

The 20 hours classroom course is very helpful to get into the TEFL mindset and understand how a lesson should be set up, with great tips for the final assignments as well.

After completing this course, I feel confident and prepared to embark on a new adventure.

The TEFL jobs board and the useful resources that the course provides, including tips for CV and cover letter, guide you through the job application process.

As English speakers sometimes we take it for granted, until we realise that we are very lucky and teaching English can actually empower people around the world.

The two day workshop was fun and informative. The online section was thorough with two relatively challenging assessments to finish. I recommend this course as a first step to ESL teaching.

I really enjoyed this course and found the information imparted invaluable. The content was very helpful and the activities made everything easily understandable. The lesson planning and how to manage a classroom were my favourite modules because of the ideas and concepts explained.

I don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner! What an amazing course outline, extremely helpful, insightful, creative and inspiring. Not only was my TEFL trainer Judy Nel amazing, easy going and easy to talk to, I also made a few new friends thanks to TEFL. Although the grammar section was pretty grueling, I thoroughly enjoyed the step by step guide through all 10 modules. I would most certainly recommend this course to anyone wanting to step outside their comfort zones and teach English abroad! Thank you to the TEFL academy, thank you Mrs Nel!
