I have already received my TEFL certificate and I am very proud of it!

The TEFL Academy provided a very efficient and interesting course, plenty of further reading and useful links.

Despite teaching for such a long time now, this course was the cherry on the cake! Being used to teach overseas, to know other culture and people, I really hope to fly away again to new lands, this time carrying my TEFL certificate.

TEFL provided everything that was needed for the correct education and preperation.

It was easy for me to navigate their website and lessons whilst fitting it around my schedule.

I felt I had the support needed and am confident in applying to jobs abroad now. They also have substantial support once you are qualified on applying for work.

The content of the course was very interesting and the feedback was really useful to help me further develop skills learnt over the online lessons. I especially enjoyed the classroom session which I attended locally as I found it nice to have a combination of face to face as well as online learning.

I am excited to use the skills I have learnt during the course when teaching in the future.

Over the last three months I have completed the 120 hour TEFL course (100 hours online, 20 hours in-class). Overall I was very happy with both the online and practical components. The content is seperated into manageable parts which I found helpful being from a non-teaching background. After completing the challenging end of course assignments and 20-hour class I now feel far more confident in teaching my own classes. The TEFL Academy also provides some very useful tips on preparing your CV, links to prospective employers and indirectly it helps you network with other students and teachers.

I have been a primary school teacher for ten years and completed the course as I hope to move overseas. The course content was interesting and helpful, as teaching Reading, Writing and Speaking and Listening in an English speaking country does not require you to think so explicitly about grammar and pronunciation. There was plenty of extra reading and resources available if I needed it, as well as lots of practise activities to check for understanding. The final assignments would be very helpful for a person new to teaching and a great stepping stone to writing your own when teaching. I recommend this course to anyone wishing to complete the 120-hour TEFL Training.

I had previously completed my teaching degree with my major in English and I have to say that I learned quite a lot. The information that was given from a teaching point of view regarding students speaking the language in class in front of other students made me re-evaluate my past experiences and the section about how to set up a lesson plan according to the skill that is being taught has helped me change my approach to teaching in the classroom.

Whenever I had an issue or inquiry the staff at TEFL Academy always replied within a day or so which shows how dedicated they are to make your learning experience as enjoyable as possible.

I have heard many negative things about doing courses online but I had no problems what so ever with TEFL Academy and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to complete this course online.

I am writng a review because I feel the course provided me with the information I needed to see if this career path is for me. I completed 20 hours in class and 100 hours online and I will admitt at times it was stressful but when I submitted my last assignment I felt a huge sense of accomplishment. This course really teaches you what you need and should know as a TEFL teacher and I am pleased to know I enjoyed the course work. I would often imagine myself in an actual class setting in order to complete my assignments.

Resources are provided but I only used a few and the job placement board is out of date. There are jobs still posted from 2 years ago so it may seem like a lot of jobs are available but this is not the case.

I just completed the TEFL course and I’m really happy with the overall , I feel all materials and teaching is set up very well and easy to follow . Each module is clear and has a lot of helpful tips , also great links at the end. When support is needed the tutors are very pleased to help and they have a very quick turn around, there reply are very clear and help to resolve any doubts. I can definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to teach English , I fee ready to teach now.

The way it was structured was simple and enabled me to gain confidence in learning and teaching English grammar to foreign students.
