The TEFL Academy provided a very efficient course. Although it’s completely online, it gives you everything you need for teaching English as a foreignb language. The material is very understandable and every module is provided by materials and links for further reading , which seems to me very useful! The course is targeted to practice applying of the theory and contains a plenty of practical material. Tasks and activities are very interesting. The course has given me new thoughts about my future life and things I want to do in future!

I am a qualified primary school teacher & did my TEFL Certification as a means to help find work overseas. I totally underestimated the depth to which the TEFL course goes. That being said, I learn stuff I had never learnt in my degree studies – which I found facinating. The modules were fairly set out & the fact that you have multiple test attempts & can review tests also takes a fair bit of pressure off. I thoroughly enjoyed the course work & the training weekend was well run & good fun too. I can soundly say I 100% feel more equipped now, having done my TEFL course than I did before doing it, in terms of going overseas to teach. I would highly recommend this to anyone!!

I took part in the 120 hour combines course with the TEFL academy.

I found the classroom part of the course very useful and interesting and the instructor was amazing. He told us about his experiences and everything that he has done during his time being a tefl tutor, he also helped us with ideas and techniques of teaching which were very useful.

The 100 hours online were also very very useful, they give you all the information you need to learn, it is very helpful having to complete work book questions too because it is a good way of testing your knowledge as you do the course. The assignments were really good practice of how you would put together and lesson and plan it all which is obviously helpful.

Feedback was quick and gave me a lot of information on what I done well and what i could have improved on but overall I thoroughly enjoyed the course and would highly recommend it too others too do.

I am yet to go out into the world and teach but I feel highly confident after participating in this course.

I have just received my certificate and i feel really proud. As Im not a native English speaker i had serious doubts if I’ll be able to finish the course successfully. However the was no need to be worry about it. The whole course was well structured, everything was clearly explained and interesting. What i’ve enjoyed most was the practice part, the weekend we have spent together with the other future teachers was just amazing. We all got opportunity to practice and create our own lessons. I found it really helpfull as I have no teaching experience yet. I would highly recommend the course to anyone who would like to travel and help people to learn to speak English. 120 hours well spent. Thank you TEFL, it was my pleasure 🙂

Wonderful course for someone who is looking to teach c English abroad. Tests were fairly structured and the assignments actually made you think! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a TEFL program.

As a third year student at Newcastle University, I wanted to complete my TEFL training over summer (between 2nd and 3rd year), in order to hopefully teach abroad after my studies!

Due to an unexpectedly busy summer my work ran over slightly into my third year, but TEFL Academy provided me with a great course that was really easy to complete online. The experience has taught me so much and overall the learning was incredibly enjoyable! I was able to balance my studies between the online courses and assessments, and time management was completely in my own hands. The course is very focused, with clear instructions and helpful tutors. It consists of 10 modules, each with a short exam to check your understanding.

TEFL academy provide many internships, advertisements for job offers to explore employment, and all this feels very achievable due to there extra support in preparing your CV and cover letter!

I am now beginning to research jobs across South East Asia, to hopefully travel and teach English after I finish University.

All in all a great experience, would recommend to anyone!

Although I got my MA quite a while ago, I really enjoyed being a student and taking a course at the TEFL Academy! The presentation of material was well-structured, the feedback I got was informative and on point, and the overall process of learning was incredibly enjoyable! Special thanks for providing links to wonderful resources any EFL teacher will be most happy to use. This experience was truly amazing and I never regretted my having decided to sign up for the course. The TEFL Academy provided a great course. It was so easy to complete online- had a great user interface, all of my concerns were addressed nearly immediately and the online aspect was so convenient. It was also a thorough course, giving me enough confidence to teach classes once I was certified and not giving me the chance to just skim through the lessons. Overall a great experience. Thank you!

I have to say the TEFL academy was a great experience for me. All their resources are always up to date. Most importantly, I always had support throughout the course whenever needed. Not once, I felt like I was bothering my tutors. The overall course is very focused on making sure that you understand what you just learned. This TEFL course was recommended to me by a friend already successfully teaching English to foreigners for 4 years. The TEFL Academy is a well respected name in the teaching environments. The presentation of the content was clear and easy to follow.The PDF versions of the workbook made it easy to search for specific information and also to navigate material back and forth. The videos and resource material really added practical value to the skills needed upon real time market entry.

I was very impressed with tutor feedback and competency as well as the helpful attitude that came through in their commmunication style. There are extra support offered by the TEFL ACADEMY, for example in preparing your CV and cover letter as well as an opportunity to explore employment offered in several countries.

I can highly recommend this particular institution to train with.
