Having recently completed the 120 Hour Combined TEFL course I have been impressed with the level of support, professionalism and rigour of both the two days on-site course and the subsequent on-line training. The tutor on the on-site course was helpful and knowledgable and the materials provided were appropriate to the level of the course. The practice teaching sessions were quite short but gave a useful insight into how different students and teachers interact. The on-line training was well structured and developed skills and knowledge as the course progressed. Regular tests gave encouragement and confirmation of understanding, which was useful in knowing how I was progressing. The final test and assignments made use of all the information and skills gained on the course and left me feeling well prepared for a TEFL career.

The TEFL course was a great, intense course. I have learned a lot and would definitely recommend this course to anyone interested in teaching abroad. The course is very structured and challenging.

TEFL academy offered a very clear, easy to understand course and easy to use website! It was a great experience and I have been previously hesitant to study online as I feared you would feel isolated, or supported and not get detailed informative feedback but this wasn’t the case at all! Definitely worth doing this course!

Hello there, I completed the 120-hour TEFL course couple of weeks ago and already found a job as an English teacher in China. It took me 3 months to complete this course, tests were well-structured and simple to complete. Site is easy to navigate and comfortable to read. The feedback I’ve received during the course was thorough and vivid.

It was a bit complicated to complete final two assignments but thankfully to clear instructions I managed to get those done in two weeks.

What really caught my attentions is price politic of The TEFL Academy, it’s affordable and much lower than other prices which you can find online.

Thanks to a great and helpful team of The TEFL Academy.

I really enjoyed doing the online 120 hour TEFL course. I found it very informative and quite straight forward. The grammar module was slightly more tricky but I found that I exceeded my expectation when I completed it and passed. The Tefl Academy is extremely efficient when dealing with students and I found that they very quick to respond to queries which very good. The feedback given for both of the end of course assignments is so helpful. The communication received after completing the course made me happy as I feel the academy accommodates the students very well. I would recommend anyone to do this course through the Tefl Academy.

A two-day concentrated introductory programme was followed by the on-line modular work and final assignments.

Having embarked on the course simply for interest and having never taught before, I found the modules (especially the grammar!) more challenging than I had imagined.

However, the notes were comprehensive and additional resource links and information were/are very useful. I enjoyed working through the modules and got a sense of achievement when I passed the test at the end of each module.

The end of course assignments were quite daunting at first but once I had the plan clear in my head, it was simply a case of working through logically.

The tutor Julie on the launch programme was excellent. Really spot on.

The on-line support and direct support on the couple of occasions I telephoned was always helpful and I though the overall quality of material was very good indeed.

Got there in the end and my distinction was very satisfying!

I’d certainly recommend the programme.

This was a surprisingly comprehensive and intense course. It is grueling to get through all the modules plus the major exam and assignments, but that’s how you know you’re getting your money’s worth. The teachers were very helpful in their feedback and thorough in their marking. The only thing I would say is sometimes the instructions are extremely detailed and hard to make sure you have every single requirement down for the assignments. I would recommend this to anyone, especially for the value you get. I can’t comment on the job placement yet, as I have not utilized that at the time of this writing.

The Tefl academy is an excellent choice for completing a fully-online course.

The course structure is very consistent and the exercises are both challenging and rewarding. The course offers an abundance of extra materials for further reading and EFL interest.

I found help was easily available and the feedback I received was clear and constructive.

The TEFL Academy offers more than enough time to complete the course and an equal amount of help to get you through it.

I highly recommend them.

I signed up for the TEFL course as my dream is to teach abroad – and this course has definitely opened up that opportunity for me! I had been told it is possible to do it without the course, but I wanted something that would adequately prepare me for the role I would take on, and I had heard good things about The TEFL Academy!

Overall I thought the course was great! It covered a lot of important content in a very coherent manner which allowed for easy and enjoyable learning. The feedback at the end of each assignment was really clear and comprehensive, and allowed for personal development. I didn’t do the face-to-face teaching element as I did not have time around my jobs, but if I had the chance to do it again I definitely would! (this is the only reason for a ‘fair’ rating as I was not able to leave it blank)

Now I have completed the course, I have the background knowledge (and the certificate, of course) to embark upon whatever teaching opportunities I may find, and I am eternally grateful! I seriously recommend this course for anybody looking to teach English as a foreign language.

I found the course very comprehensive as well as challenging. The course content was all easy to follow and each section linked together very well.

I found the final assessments challenging but as long as you read them over properly all of the questions make sense and the resources are available for you to complete the tasks.highly recommend this course!
