The 120 tefl on line course was really interesting and super for a new teacher like me. It’s also super easy to understand the course even for a computer unexpert person like me

Thoroughly enjoyed my TEFL training course. I found the weekend workshop really useful and enjoyed meeting other people and gaining some hands-on teaching experience. Really enjoyed completing the online course aswell. Would definitely recommend!

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Some modules were definitely a bit harder than others but there was always help along the way.

I wish the in class teaching part of the course involved two weekends or more as I absolutely loved it. I learned the most there and it helped with understanding some of the content I came across later.

There was a slight issue with me receiving the wrong feedback for one of my assignments but it was rectified within 2 hours, other than that no complaints at all and would completely recommend it.

It is quite difficult to fit all of the studying in while working full time, and you need to seriously plan many weekends in advance, so make sure you are completely committed before beginning!

5 stars with no hesitation! Let me give you my reasons for that: 1. The content is very well structured, complete and much more easy to grasp than I’ve imagined. No, teaching English is not easy and passion is a must, but the content was done in such a pleasant and in the same time professional way that makes me feel that I really have a strong foundation to start this wonderful adventure. 2. I’ve also done the 20 hours course in Istanbul and I must say it was a fabulous experience, no exaggeration. Our tutor, Ms. Sue was fantastic and I’ve also learnt so much from my colleagues. 3. The assessors, Ms. Roberts and Mr. Horlock gave me great advice. 4. The price and the assistance are great, probably the best on the market.

I truly recommend this course for everyone ready to start the adventure of their life!

The TEFL Academy was fantastic. My weekend course teacher was a very dynamic and experienced teacher which definitely gave me to the motivation to get through the online hours.

Once I had submitted my online assignments the tutors offered really valuable feedback which helped me when I first started lesson planning a few months later in my first job as an ESL teacher in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The lesson plan guidance is very comprehensive, and the layout of the online course is varied so you don’t get bored easily. If you’re someone who wants to do further reading they also provide you with useful links, but equally its not essential.

All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and as a result, I am looking to become further qualified in the area.

Since I found out I was going to be moving abroad to Spain I was very interested in doing a TEFL course. The TEFL academy appealed to me because the majority of the hours were done online so I could be flexible with when to complete the chapters. It was very convenient for me as I am a student so I could study and do the assignments during the evenings or on the weekends and the 20 hours of classroom teaching were available in my area. Another reason why I chose this course is that at the time I went to book it there was a sale which really made it more accesible.

The online content was very informative and easy to navigate.

I did the classroom hours towards the end of my online course and I would recommend doing this if possible. I was able to pick up on teaching techniques I had studied that the instructor was using in class and I felt that everything was being reinforced and coming together compared to some my classmates that were just starting out their course. The instructor was really motivating and encouraging and made the classes really interesting and comfortable. She shared a lot of her own experiences which gave me inspiration for teaching abroad.

However, the lesson plan I was given as an example in my classroom hours could have been done in more detail. For the end of course assignment I based my lesson plan off the one we were given in class but through the feedback I was told it wasnt substancial and required more detail. This left me quite confused as I wasn’t sure what I actually needed to do. At this point I would have found it beneficial to have someone to contact for minor questions instead of completing the entire assignment and having to wait a week to get any feedback, and maybe even having to start from scratch again. For the second assignment I found the tutor gave much more constructive feedback that I can use when I am teaching.

Overall I really enjoyed completing this course and I can’t wait to start teaching next month!

It was a solid course. Step by step i got familiar with the content. Afterwards I felt confident to make my own lesson plans and teach people English in a lot of different and creative ways.

The instructions were clear. Not too much and not too little. Perfect!

The feedback really helped me to improve my skills. It is given in a constructive way.

I appreciate TEFL Academy for very useful course. All content related with course were designed very professional and user-friendly. After course I became much more confident in myself cause feel professional. Now I can easily prepare lesson plan for any group and any age. And sure that lesson will be fun. I work in tertiary education and have written many books, but the course was no walk-over. Some of the modules were quite demanding and the manuals were well written. I found it was quite easy to copy the on-line modules into Word files and I used the content for study purposes. The assessor, Emma Healy, was very good and demanded a very high standard. This course was certainly worth the money I spent on it and is at a very high, professional level.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the TEFL Academy. I thought the information was very helpful and beneficial. I was able to work at my own pace which was very convenient considering my weekly workload. I’m thankful that I was able to find a course that was right for me. If I would change anything about the course, I would make the modules a little easier to navigate, but this was never really a big issue.
