My review is short but tell you everything about TEFL Academy: The course is very well organized. Your study materials are useful and enjoyable. My goal was to find a job in France when I started but the biggest gift what I got from the Academy is -now- my English is much better than it was when I started. (English is not my mother language.) The tutors helped me and encouraged to do more and more and gave me the direction how to grow… It was a beautiful journey for me.

Started the 120Hr course and completed within 5 months. Found the approach of taking the 20hr practical towards the end of the course to be beneficial because we could apply the knowledge gained during the course. The 2 day practical was facilitated by an experienced teacher with world travel experience.

Standard of work expected in both end of course assignments is high. Did not pass on first attempt but received suitable knowledgeable and practical feedback from tutor to successfully complete the resubmission with high marks.

Overall would recommend this course for all aspiring TEFL teachers.

I am so pleased that I found TEFL and have completed my course. I have achieve distinction, which is great and has given me huge confidence to teach English. I have found this course to be of the highest standard and presented in a very professional manner. It was incredibly challenging but I am pleased with this as I now feel properly equipped and prepared to teach. The online tutors were exceptionally helpful and very quick to respond within in a short period of time whenever I contacted them. I particularly enjoyed the training weekend which was part of the combined course. It was immensely helpful and I highly recommend this option to anyone considering studying with TEFL. I am excited to see what opportunities will arise from doing this course.

After completing this course, I would happily say that I have gained my money’s worth. I completed the online course and found it very easy to understand and complete task. I was very impressed with the feedback as it allowed me to better my teaching methods without any misunderstandings. Communication is very important when doing an online course as there isn’t a teacher that you can directly communicate with unless going through the troubles of emailing. I however did not feel the need to email for further help as the course was perfectly worded and easy to follow. Definitely a yes from me.

This course was indeed a great opportunity for as a qualified teacher in the terms of professional development. There were many aspects to teaching English that I found interesting.

I am Chinese and I have just finished my 120 hours course, as the English is my second language, before I decide take the course I am so worried, afraid my English is not good enough to pass all the modules, however When I am doing the course I find it is amazing, it brought back my memory how did I learn in school. and I am so pleased with the course, It is brilliantly designed and plenty online resource guiding me through my lessons.

I have just completed the 120 hour TEFL course. I am an experienced teacher so did not do the weekend course, as advised when I rang the academy. I have been most impressed by the professionalism of the company and the rigour of the assessments. To be honest, I did find the course far more challenging than I expected!

I may be one of the oldest trainees at 66 and a granny, but I was looking for intellectual challenge and the possibility of doing some private tuition. I was also very keen to do as well as I possibly could as my family followed my progress! Achieving a distinction meant a lot after a very successful and enjoyable career preparing secondary pupils for their examinations. I was so keen I took my laptop to New York to continue the modules when my grandson was asleep!

I think this is a great course for students to do. It means they can travel the world whilst earning a living. This may not be appropriate for me but I hope to use the expertise and knowledge gained to help immigrants to improve their English and, therefore, their quality of life.

It was really a great experience!

The course was perfectly designed and structured.

I have learned a lot by doing the tests and the assignments.

I highly recommend this course to those who are interested in language teaching and those who are ESL teachers already.
