The course is demanding & challenging even for a postgraduate English student. However, it is so rewarding & enjoyable & gives such a sense of accomplishment that it is worth tha hard work. Great things do not come easily & I now feel I can find a job anywhere in the world.

It has been the best investment I have ever done. This course is amazing: fully furnished, it has helped me to learn how to teach English, with a real technique, simple and easy. I have practice a lot during the course and I still use it with my students. They love it and are getting better and better every day. It’s a pleasure to feel this sensation. I have wrote in a book the principal directive of the course and I give an eye on it when needed.

I suggest everyone who is thinking about teaching English to follow this course, even if they don’t have many practice. The secret is the motivation and to follow all step of each module. You won’t regret it, be sure, you will be more than happy at the end.

I’m French, English is not my first language, and this was a challenge for me. I’m so happy today. Thanks a lot TEFL Academy!

This course was so organised and very professional,

If i needed help with anything i felt like a teacher was at hand with 1 click.

I HAVE SPENT MANY YEARS WONDERING IF I HAD THE ABILITY TO TEACH ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE AND TOOK THE PLUNGE TO FIND OUT BY SIGNING UP TO THE TEFL 120 HOUR COURSE . I CAN SAY ,HAVING COMPLETED THE COURSE RECENTLY THAT IT HAS CHANGED MY LIFE FOR THE BEST.

I FOUND THE COURSE CHALLENGING AND SATISFYING LEAVING ME WITH A REAL SENSE OF HAVING ACHIEVED SOMETHING WORTHWHILE AND A RENEWED BELIEF IN MY ABILITIES TO TAKE ON NEW CHALLENGES .

THE COURSE CONTENT COVERED EVERYTHING I IMAGINED IT SHOULD AND MORE AND ALL OF THE MODULES WERE PRESENTED IN SUCH A WAY AS TO LEAVE ME EAGER TO DO FOLLOW UP ACTIVITES OF MY OWN . THE IDEAS WERE PRESENTED IN CLEAR EASY TO UNDERSTAND LANGUAGE WITHOUT ANY “DUMBING DOWN”.

THE ASSIGNMENTS WERE VERY TESTING AND IM PLEASED THAT THEY WERE BECAUSE I FELT WHILST DOING THEM THAT I WAS BEING CALLED UPON TO PUT EVERYTHING ID LEARNED OVER ALL 10 MODULES INTO PRACTISE .

I am 100% satisfied with the TEFL course and would highly recommend to anyone who wanted to get into teaching English to foreign students. The course content is thorough, explained well and modules set out well. The practical component was excellent. We had the most fantastic facilitator (Luan) in Cape Town. She was very inspiring and motivating. Course feedback is quick and comprehensive. This course has made me feel competent and confident as a teacher, and I look forward to this new career venture!

I’ve been looking for a good TEFL course for a long time and finally I found it.This course is very well structured. I really enjoyed studying each module.After each module there are links to very useful resources so that I can use it in my work.

I also want to mention the way that they use to check the understanding of each module.You must pass the test and you are really limited in time. So no cheating (which was a tremendous motivation for me :D)

The end of course assignments were difficult but still very important and

the feedback was constructive and useful.

I am so happy that I chose the TEFL academy and I highly recommend this course to everyone!

I did this course alongside my 2nd year university studies and I have been so impressed. The 20 hour weekend course was hugely beneficial and I gained a lot of knowledge which came in useful throughout the course, but particularly the end of test assignments. I would definitely recommend doing the 120 hours, which for me wasn’t at all too much to do alongside my studies. The feedback was great and I think its a brilliant qualification and I’m looking forward to using it to find a job in my gap year after university. I would recommend doing this course to anybody.

The course was very thorough and covered most aspects of grammar. While it would have been better to have covered more grammar and how to teach it, there is only so much you can do in 120 hours and I felt the course made a good job of the time available. I felt the feedback for assignments was good but could have been a bit more detailed perhaps. However, once again, I appreciate there is only so much time available. The website is well-structured and the assignments clearly explained. All in all, a very professional setup.

Taking the TEFL course was the best investment I ever made. It is a fantastic course and really inexpensive as it can bring so much more in return.

I took longer than the 6mths to finish the course as I had a family bereavement, I lost about 3mths but the academy kindly allowed me to pay a small fee to extend the course so I could finish in time.

I found the teachers comments (Daniel Horlock) really invaluable and I could not have completed my assignments without his help. All the staff were friendly and answered all my queries same day or withing 2 days, they really do want you to succeed.

Being 58 I hadn’t done grammar for many years and I struggled with the course, I had to do every single module twice along with the assignments because I tried to rush them. I found module 3 the grammar module the most difficult, longest and the most challenging. The great thing about the modules is that if you fail and have to redo them you can look at your answers to see which ones you got wrong, contrary to other comments where they say its not possible because it is. I was able to click on my answers, make a note of which I got right and then just concentrate on the ones which were wrong. It saved me a lot of time doing the second submission as I already had the correct answers and just put in the ones that I had gotten wrong.

For the assignments I found one easier than no.2 but I would recommend you put in a lot of grammar multiple choice questions and missing gap exercises along with true or false questions as they seemed to like these. Make sure you write exactly what they ask for in the assignment as I went off on a tangent with my second but the examiner helped me get on track with great advice. I would say if you weren’t British you would need a good knowledge of grammar to be able to pass this but there is an amazing amount of great information out there on google so if I got stuck I just put in the search box what I needed to find, I could not have completed this course without the examiner or google.

I am teaching in Italy and the TEFL course was an amazing tool for me and invaluable all for £120, incredible and I can now teach TEFL anywhere in the world, that is a great achievement at 58!

I’ve just completed the Tefl on line course much to my delight ! Im glad I did it as it was something I always wanted to do but just didn’t get around to doing it ! I would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to do a Tefl online as it is very interesting and the material provided is very professional and it is easy to follow ! The staff have been very helpful along the way and have been quick to respond to my queries !
