The course was an extremely enjoyable challenge! A lot of information and good direction throughout the modules with lots of external references and research ideas. Though large it was all manageable and the ability to do it online as and when you wanted was a great help. The classroom weekend was a bit daunting, i would recommend doing this once you have done most of the course as i was out of my depth in the class There wasn’t any real teaching experience as you with with your piers but this was made clear beforehand so i wouldn’t see it as a negative pont.

I stumbled upon this course while researching a completely different course from a completely different website and I haven’t looked back since. The course materials and resources are more than sufficient and simple to follow, I do not have a teaching degree but while doing this course i was able tp help a friend who is currently studying towards a teaching degree with her assignments and studying towards tests with the knowledge I’ve gained from this course. Thank you The TEFL Academy, your course opens up more than just TEFL doors and that I appreciate. Best of luck to all doing this course. I will definitely be recommending it to anyone who would like a career in TEFL.?

I’ve heard of TEFL in 2012, never did it due to the thought of it been some online scam. Not so long ago I was told about it again and then met people that did the TEFL course and have gone all over the world and online. Not one of them will change it for the world.

I, myself doing Higher Grade English back at school, have learnt so much more in the course than what I did at school. The explications, the content, tests, self help pdf and the overall TEFL course is well planned. The way it’s broken up so the students won’t be overwhelmed with so much reading content was most probably the biggest plus for me.

I would recommend that everyone takes the chance to do the course, my examiner gave back such awesome feed back, pointing out where I went astray and how to fix the problem. Giving me even more confidents to move onto the next assignment.

Thank you TEFL for this opportunity and such a great course. I look forward to doing the CELTA course.

This tefl course was recommended to me by a friend, I was assured by her that I wouldn’t need any other qualifications as this had been a barrier I had come up against alot. This course has given me the confidence in the academic world in which I had lost. This has now opened up so many new doors for me and shown that you don’t need tip top gcse’s or college grades to succeed in something you find very interesting and want to do.

I cant thank everyone at the tefl academy enough for this amazing life experience they have given to me! Epically Debbi the course instructor on my 20 hour classroom weekend course in Exeter.

Again I can not express my gratitude to the tefl academy foe this life changing experience!

I’ve heard of the TEFL course a few years back and had wanted to do it since. I finally got down to booking my place in December last year for the 120 hour course.

I would recommend the 120 hour course for anyone who does not have a teaching background. The online modules and activities provided a good base of what is required from a TEFL teacher from learning how to write out a lesson plan to the types of lessons I would have to teach.

But I really enjoyed the weekend class, as I feel that it brought the theory to life. The best part of the weekend course was actually having to put together a lesson plan and teach it to the class. It is an experience I will never forget.

I also, really appreciated that the lecturer did not sugarcoat the experiences that he had on his teaching travels and gave us a real idea of what to expect.

Overall, I am very glad that I had completed the TEFL course and I can’t wait to get my CV out there.

I am extremelly happy to have chosen the TEFL Academy as my tefl course provider. The 120 hours course is essential for any inexeperienced teacher as it provides you with an excellent base of knowledge and understanding of the profession. The online lessons are interesting and useful, and the 20 hours classroom course and teaching practice was a necessary element that allowed me to build my confidence. I fully recomend this course to anyone who is looking to become a great tefl teacher!

I have just passed the final assignment of the 120 hour course of the TEFL Academy. I am more than happy to have signed in. I was looking for something which could be useful for my career as a teacher plus I wanted to update my knowledge which I had acquired during my studies at the University.

I have come across the Academy and I have found all the materials, lessons and modules well organized, well explained, very clear but nonetheless thorough and accurate.

The fact that any module focused a specific aspect and topic has allowed me to revise the material quite easily and this was really handy when preparing the assignments.

The quality of the course is excellent and the time for correcting the assignments and the feedback received are prove of high professionality and competence. Moreover, the comments on the final papers show that they have been carefully read and evaluated accordingly, thus showing how the TEFL team cares and supports its students.

My compliments and gratitude to the whole organization, hoping to have the opportunity to study again with them for future refreshing courses. I am sorry I did not sign for the plenary course in the Italian location.

I can’t speak highly enough of the TEFL academy. It was such a positive experience and the course content was extremely concise and informative. I have been fully equipped with all of the necessary skills to begin my career as a new english teacher. I would highly recommend the course to anyone considering doing TEFL.
