I am extremely satisfied with my choice of taking part in the 120 TEFL certificate program offered by The Tefl Academy. The modules were easy to understand, but it would have been extremely helpful to have a pdf copy of all the modules. This is because I had to study where I had no access to the internet, and it got quite difficult at some point. However, I received an incredible amount of support from the Tefl Academy team, and was able to complete the course on time, and with good results! I cannot wait to apply what i have learned so far, in my future career.

I must say I was delighted with the quality of the TEFL academy’s online course, the modules were well varied and interesting, with plenty of further reading and links provided to ensure new teachers could do more research into areas such as lesson planning and conducting a class smoothly. I was impressed that it also went into detail of the history of TEFL and teaching foreign languages practices as it gave backstory to the content of the modules. Overall it had a clear layout and helpful instructions for preparing and uploading assignments, the hardest aspect I found was to learn the phonetic transcriptions of the English characters for those studying English who do not use the Roman script, but I suppose these skills come with practice.

I am very happy to have chosen and taken part in the 120 combined TEFL certificate program from The Tefl Academy. I really enjoyed the material in the modules and I especially liked the learning platform. Everything is very well organised and very comprehensive. I feel very prepared and confident when I put together my lesson plans thanks to the knowledge obtained by taking this program. I have now started teaching a Business English course.

I’ve just completed the 120-hour online TEFL course and can honestly say that I have enjoyed it VERY much!

The course content was excellent and followed in a logical order, covering everything and anything you’d ever need to become an EFL teacher. The tests at the end of each module were designed to properly assess your knowledge, the end-of-course exam was a lovely challenge, and the two assignments I had to submit at the end of the course were the perfect platforms for me to display my knowledge of what I’ve learned during my 5 months with the academy.

I was lucky to have received feedback from Jenny Hardacre when I needed guidance on a thing or two during the course, and her feedback and assistance were excellent and cleared any doubts/uncertainties I had about a topic. This is exactly the thing about The TEFL Academy: you feel like they really care about you and your TEFL journey with them.

I would highly recommend their course to anyone who is interested in gaining thorough TEFL knowledge and know-how. I feel fully equipped and ready to take on my new career as a teacher of English as a foreign language. South Korea, here I come!

I’ve recently finished the 120 hour online course by The TEFL Academy and I can certainly recommend it to anyone who is considering signing up. The information given is extremely thorough and the tutors are very knowledgeable and supply valuable feedback for assignments.

There are plenty of references given for all topics which helps when students require further clarification.

Practice teaching obviously wasn’t available for the online only course but every other aspect of the course was first class. Thanks to all the staff at the academy!

I thoroughly enjoyed this course and would recommend it to anyone who was interesting in teaching English. Thank you for the clear content and well prepared exercises, they really help in understanding the material in the course. The assignments also help you to gain experience in what you can look forward to in preparing lessons and helping your students learn English.

A very good course with integrity and good content. Each module of the course ends with a test which reinforces ones understanding of the previous module. The feed back on the end of course assessments was valuable and the assessors gave good pointers where any weak points were discovered. The website itself is well laid out and all information easily accessible throughout the course. The activity workbooks were of great value in that it was a good way of reinforcing understanding by doing the exercises and for keeping personal notes. All in all a very good course with a very reasonable price tag.

I have taken time to get to know the course and the practical sides of the job-as a result, because of the TEFL qualification, I can be confident about the quality of my own teaching and resourcing. A very beneficial course for even the more mature or experienced candidates.

The materials offered to use are second to none, and the contents of the course is very precise, accurate and interesting.

I have been looking forwards to be offered a work placement, and I am assured, that it will happen.Finally, I can say to myself-I CAN teach:)

I wanted to do a TEFL course because I want to start teaching English. Before doing this course I also did an ELE course to teach Spanish as a second language. After comparing the content and the way of teaching of both I have to say that the TEFL course was by far more easy to follow, more concrete and accurate and that I have learned a lot in order to know not only how to teach English skilfully but also how to organize classes and follow-up activities.

It took me a bit less than two months to complete it and I am happy to say that I feel prepared to start a new career.

The lessons are clear and very detailed, the activities cover every aspect and the techniques and examples are designed to help you understand and put into practice what you learn. Even if English is not your first language (as in my case) the course is easy to follow.

I highly recommend it. As I finished it very recently, I cannot give feedback on how easy is to find a job showing the certificate, because I am still waiting for it to come home.

I completely loved the course and enjoyed the work as well as the assignments. Everything about this course is easy to understand and to do online. This course was definitely worth it.
