The course is very well structured and very easy to understand.

In addition to the materials of the course, I found the “further reading” section and the sample lesson videos very interesting.

I liked very much the combined course option that I choose. The two days of practical training in London were really useful. I was able to get so many ideas and feedbacks about teaching strategies and class management.

I am very happy to have chosen the TEFL academy to achieve my certification, I would recommend this course to everyone.

When it came to what I wanted to do with my life I wasn’t too sure. I saw an ad for TEFL Academy come up on Facebook and decided to go for it. I’m happy I did because the way you learn it in modules online piece by piece really suited my style of studying (study in your own time and at your own pace) and you had to complete one before you moved onto the next (no skipping ahead because you learned everything in a logical order).

In my opinion the feedback was extensive and helpful. I have not required to use their job placement facilities as of yet as I got a teaching job in my own area of expertise. However, had I not been studying this course during the application process I would not have ticked as many boxes with the employer as I have no other teaching qualification.

For anyone that is considering a TEFL course, I would highly recommend TEFL Academy.

I completed the 120-hour TEFL, which I thought may be difficult to complete since I work full-time However, the online course is simple and structured. The feedback on the assignments were thorough and positive. The online course taught me the basics of the English language in a way that was fun and interesting.

Our tutor was really supportive and passionate about teaching. The course overall, has given me the confidence to teach, and I am excited about my future career.

The TEFL Academy 120 hour online course was a great introduction into the TEFL world. The course content was substantial and efficiently presented. The online course allowed me to work along at my own pace, which was great. I now feel much more confident before I shortly leave to go abroad for an English teaching position I recently got.

i have a learned a lot from the course. All the material is set up in a way that makes sense and builds upon each unit. The workbook is very helpful and helps to consolidate the learning as you go through the modules. The written assignments were marked very quickly and the feedback was clear and detailed. I feel ready to look for a possible position teaching English abroad.

As a full time worker, I was initially concerned with the length of the course and with it being completely online.

I was worried that I would have found it too confusing to do without a tutor following me directly, step by step, but I have to admit I was very pleasantly surprised with how straight forward the course was.

I raised a ticket once, to ask for support with a section of the grammar that I found a little confusing, and I received an email back within a few hours, with all the information I needed to understand it.

The course flows very naturally and the structure feels very logical and well organised; at the end of each module there are links to interesting and useful readings to further explore the topic of the module.

The language used throughout is clear and straight to the point, and most importantly, with each activity I felt like I wasn’t just told information, but I was learning through practice.

The quizzes at the end of each module assess the fundamental information studied in the module and they are easy to undertake if the topic has been revised beforehand. It is very helpful that you are able to check the result straight away, although I wish I was able to see what questions I got wrong, and what would have been the right answer.

Throughout the course there are plenty of ideas and suggestions on how to create an interesting and fun lesson, that would also be very beneficial to the students. I have worked with children for a few years but I now feel confident to teach people of any age and level of English.

The two end of course assignments are comprehensive of most of the different notions learnt in the course and serve as useful practice for new teachers. The time in which I have received the feedback for them wasn’t as quick as I expected (it says within 3-5 working days and I have received it nearly two weeks after my submission), but the content of them was very exhaustive and detailed, so I can’t really complain!

I would recommend this course to others, in fact I already have.

It is natural to be cautious of online learning providers but I can honestly say that this course has been a constructive, engaging and favourable experience.

I have learnt so much about the english language which is something I took for granted as an english speaker. I liked that the course was comprehensive and detailed. Not only did I learn about teaching a language but I have also improved my own language skills.

The online structure of the course is well organised and easy to use. It can be very challenging to learn new content with a difficult platform. The TEFL Academy gave me no such problems. I believe that the accessibility definitely aided the learning process.

The TEFL Academy offers a great online course and I would recommend this course to anyone interested 🙂

I started with the online course in January 2017 and it took me about 3 weeks. The system is very easy to use and the content of the course is very helpful.

It was my first online course and it was a success, I really enjoyed the course. I recommend it to everyone.

The tutors are very helpful. The feedback on the assignments are positive.

I believe that this course will guide me in the future.

A highly recommended course to undertake. The notes were very detailed before each assessment and will definitely come in handy when I start teaching in a few months. The classroom based learning weekend was very informative and was well structured. Overall, it is a great course and comes at a good price.
