I had an overall good experience working on my Level 3 Certification with TEFL Academy. All sections of the course were well thought out and helpful to learning how to effectively teach English as a foreign language. I also liked that I could take the course at my own pace and that I was able to receive detailed feedback on my assignments.

I would recommend this course to my friends and anyone interested in obtaining their TEFL certification.

It was a great experience and to be able to do it all online was very beneficial and convenient. Some videos of classes were really long and not helpful just listening/watching the conversations that were all going on at the same time. The other parts of the videos were good though.

The course was comprehensive. It covered fundermentals that pertain English Language Learners with with an abundance of resources to extend one’s knowledge. I highly recommend it.

This course has been nothing short of great. It’s been a learning experience for my personal English growth as well as for English teaching. I recently completed my TEFL course with The TEFL Academy, and I would like to share my honest experience.

Course Content and Structure

The course is well organized and easy to follow. It starts with basic grammar and teaching methods, then moves to more advanced topics like lesson planning and using authentic materials. I found the units clear and helpful. The assignments were challenging but fair—they really made me think like a real teacher, not just a student memorizing facts.

Support and Resources

The course provides useful templates for assignments, which helped me structure my work properly. When I had questions, the tutor support was responsive and gave clear, constructive feedback. The online materials are thorough and cover everything you need to start teaching.

What I Learned

I gained practical skills, such as how to plan a complete lesson, how to choose materials that match students’ needs, and how to design activities for different levels. By the end, I felt much more confident about stepping into a real classroom.
