Promise Opens Doors is an online English language instruction organization based in Missouri. Since 2004, we have provided high quality online English language lessons to over 13,000 students in East Asia.
Promise Opens Doors is proud to offer the 60-hour TEFL Certificate for Online Teaching and the 120-hour Comprehensive TEFL Certificate Program for In-person and Online Teaching. Our programs have been created by our teaching staff who have years of experience in online English language teaching.
Our program prepares a teacher to work with English as a Foreign Language students in real-time, online, and in-person classroom settings. The program is primarily focused on working with secondary school students, but there are resources and content focusing on young learners and young adults as well, making sure our participants get the full spectrum.
As a mark of the quality and preparation our certificate programs provide, participants are required to complete teaching practicum in order to graduate. There simply is no substitute for live experience!
The teaching practicum requirement goes hand-in-hand with our class offerings to EFL learners. Practicum participants are placed in our online classrooms and since practicum teaching is unpaid, Promise is better able to serve underprivileged youth across the world by offering them free-to very low cost courses with these teachers.
