We have a wide selection of courses available to choose from, ranging from a short 20 hour weekend classroom TEFL course all the way up to our 198 hour Level 5 TEFL course, which involves a 3 day classroom course plus 168 hours of online study.

I wasn’t too sure what to expect from the weekend course but I really enjoyed it and found it incredibly useful. I walked away from the weekend course feeling a bit more confident and definitely excited about my course. Thank you!

Loved the class from Liz. She was so easy to talk to and made me feel so welcome. Her teaching abilities are admirable and I hope to be as good a teacher as she is. She taught a without us knowing we were learning which is brilliant for me especially. She’s very straight to the point but keeps the class laughing.

The tutor was excellent and course content. My only suggestion is it would benefit to have two video of a classroom overseas with children and adults [real life example].

The room and facilities were only average, a lot of noise from children running around. I would favour tables [desks]. The whiteboard was in a poor position. The coffee/tea was minimum.

I thoroughly enjoyed my classroom TEFL course. Liz was an excellent teacher – she made the course so interesting and interactive while also teaching us so much. She was engaging, friendly and encouraging, and I really felt like I benefited from her knowledge and expertise. The course I did was in Edinburgh at the Edinburgh Training and Conference Centre, which was great. Really nice coffee lounge, a spacious and comfortable classroom, and a central location. The course content was interesting and complemented the online courses really well. The only downside to this course was that by the time we started planning and presenting our lessons on the Saturday, it had already been a long day and we were quite tired, so it might have been better to do this task with a fresh mind. However, this didn’t affect my enjoyment of the course and I would highly recommend it to others interested in TEFL.

Not often do I find myself wishing a course to continue. Normally I can’t wait to be finished quick enough, however that was not the case this weekend.

I am so grateful to have had Liz come through from Glasgow to teach us. She made learning fun and easy, so much so we didn’t even realise we were being taught half the time. She was clear and concise and because of the personal touch I was able to relate to her and engage so much better.

Her feedback was constructive and positive, I felt safe and comfortable in her class. The whole experience was amazing which made saying goodbye that much harder.

If, one day, I am half as good a teacher as Liz, I will count myself lucky!

Overall, I thought that the course went really well. The instructor clearly went through various different teaching techniques as well as making activities somewhat exciting. He also explained the importance of what you need to do in a school environment compared to other environments, as well as cultural differences between countries. I have learnt a lot about the importance of specific parts of teaching the English language such as the use of IPA. I would like to thank everyone at TeFL for providing an opportunity for young people to be able to go abroad and start teaching.

Simon was an amazing instructor to teach the methodology of the classroom, and the many nuances that inexperienced teachers like myself would miss. The quality of teaching was great and I wish there was more time to learn from him and demonstrate our work.

Really enjoyed the course. Asif was a great tutor. It was really nice the way he delivered the sessions. I didn’t feel stressed or rushed. Great course to do, I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

I’ve met many teachers throughout my academic years and also during my career. Never met such a brilliant teacher like Simon – who is definitely a 5***** teacher.

I enjoyed every hour of the lesson presented by Simon. You can see and feel his energy throughout the day.

Simon was an absolutely amazing teacher. The hours flew by with him as he was incredibly engaging and made the lessons thoroughly enjoyable as well as educative. 5 star review for him!
