I recently completed a CELTA at this location in August 2017. IH Vancouver facilities were not up to standard. The chairs we were initially given to learn with were filthy and covered with huge stains that looked like someone has had an accident in. There were stains on the floors, broken desks, rooms piled up with boxes that were falling off the shelves, terrible AC that was either not working or far too cold and unhelpful admin staff.
The computers that we were given to use didn’t work properly; in fact, one never worked. The communal printer broke on a daily basis and the one we had to use in our room didn’t print properly. I would not recommend taking your CELTA here. The teacher trainers often started late, were disorganised and were not kind. The other CELTA candidates complained to their agencies in their home countries. Do not take your CELTA here.
