Description
BridgeTEFL is the largest provider of TEFL courses in the United States. We offer a wide variety of TEFL programs and each year we prepare hundreds of students to teach English overseas.
With over 20 years training students and teachers worldwide, BridgeTEFL is an established leader in the language training industry. Our staff, programs, facilities and network of global contacts are top-notch because language training is our business – and has been for over two decades.
Our parent company, Bridge-Linguatec Language Services, offers a variety of language-related services worldwide, including language training, translations and interpretations, and study abroad programs.
The online course covers the same basic material as our onsite teacher training programs, but it can be done from your own home and at your own pace. It takes approximately 40 – 120 hours to finish, depending on the course you choose, which is typically completed over the course of six to eight weeks.
The online modules include study material, video tutorials, review quizzes, and written assignments — and all courses include guidance from your own personal tutor.

There are so many misspelled words in the lessons. Tutors get confused easily. And has mislead me to turning an assignment wrong and was graded differently. Quizzes references to what you learn are inconsistent. You learn your lessons as 10.1, 10.2, but quizzes will tell you 10A 10B and for someone who wants to do the best they can and believing they are led the best they can.. these inconsistencies are nerve racking.
They are gracious on extensions, but I wouldn’t have used them if there wasn’t so many confusions and waiting Periods for my tutor to respond (also leading me to switch a tutor, but even then she was not certified in the certification I was taking so she couldn’t answer my questions).l and had to resort to my original tutor.
I gave them another chance after my 1st certification, but the mishaps are still the same. Not very professional.
Very frustrating.
