What a whirlwind! I did a CELTA at AELT in Leeds because it was what all the job adverts asked for. The best part of the course was the teaching practice. The students were great and I really got to know them well. When the lesson went well, it was a such a buzz. After each lesson we got feedback from other trainees and the tutor and it really helped me recognise where I was making progress. The tutors were really friendly and supportive, even when things went wrong. It was very hard work, but I made some good friends and learnt such a lot about teaching and about myself too.. I now feel confident that I can do the job and be a good teacher. I’d recommend Action English any day.
