Action in English Review
We provide trainees: Practical techniques for developing a good classroom atmosphere and teaching the four basic skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In addition, the course also includes a review of basic grammatical terms and practical grammar teaching techniques. We include not only knowledge of good ice-breaking activities, but also many different activities that can be used in the classroom to facilitate learning. All Action in English students observe select ESL classes at EC Boston (formerly known as the Olin Center) and other affiliated schools. Practice preparing lessons. Trainers teach Action in English students to prepare and revise lessons according to the identified needs of the ESL classes. Teaching experience. Participants in the Action in English Certificate Program begin peer teaching in the second day of class. By the completion of the course, students teach actual ESL students, using lesson plans they have created. |
